The text body on the front of the poster reads:
This poster was produced by Peter Happel Christian (peterhappelchristian.com). Peter applied for the same artists’ grant three separate times and it took him about 20 hours to complete each version of the application. Peter was awarded the grant in the sum of $10,000. Per his grant agreement, this poster must contain the following text: Peter Happel Christian is a fiscal year 2015 recipient of an Artist Initiative grant from the Minnesota State Arts Board. This activity is made possible by the voters of Minnesota through a grant from the Minnesota State Arts Board, thanks to a legislative appropriation from the arts and cultural heritage fund. Peter has approximately one year to execute his proposed grant activities. With some of his grant money, Peter rents a studio in St. Cloud, MN at a cost of $360 a month. With some more of his grant money, Peter printed this poster at a cost of $1.69 per copy. The poster was printed by Shapco Printing Inc. (shapco.com) in Minneapolis, MN, which was recommended to Peter by Ethan Aaron Jones of Big Al’s Photo in St. Paul, MN. The poster was printed 4-color on 80# Uncoated Finch Fine ID text paper using an Indigo 10,000 printer in a quantity of 250. The poster is 19 x 27 in. and folded into quarters. A companion poster will be printed later. This poster was designed by Elana Schlenker (elanaschlenker.com). Elana designed this poster in exchange for photography services from Peter. It took Elana approximately 12 hours to design this poster. The poster uses the typeface Dia, designed by Schick-Toikka (schick-toikka.com), which retails for $55.
